7 Beliefs You Must Have To Live A GREAT LIFE

prueba

Most people drift through life with no sense of purpose, no direction or true joy.

They pay no attention to the fact they are not happy, and never address the mindset and choices that led to that unhappiness, but if they did they might be able to reverse it.

Most people have limiting beliefs, and so their life is limited. They believe life is hard. They believe life is a challenge, full of sadness and misery.

They believe at some level, consciously or subconsciously. The best days are behind them. They believe fitting in, and wearing masks will get them a better or more comfortable life, then being the true self and following their true passions.

Their happiness is dependent on what happens; they are not in control of life; life is in control of them.

If you can switch your beliefs about life to the following seven empowering beliefs, life will start to work for you. The blessings will appear.

The joy that is inside you will start rising out. Here are seven beliefs you must have to live a great life.

Number One: I Decide How I feel No Matter the Circumstances

Number Two: I Have So Much to Be Thankful For

Number Three: Being Myself Attracts the Right People

Number Four: I am Capable of Anything

Number Five: Kindness Always Wins

Number Six: Everything is a Blessing or a Lesson

Number Seven: My Best Is Yet to Come

Let me go over each one to help you understand them a little more.

Number One— I Decide How I Feel No Matter the Circumstances.

Have you ever noticed how unhappy people seem to get upset over just about anything? Did you also notice that they seem to have a lot to be unhappy about?

The truth is they let every little circumstance make them unhappy.

Someone cuts them off in traffic… ruins their day. Someone says something unkind, and they replay in their mind for weeks. When you adopt the belief that you are in control of how you feel ,and you commit to doing daily work on yourself, two things happen.

First is that you become empowered. You know nothing has the power to make you unhappy. Only your thoughts can do that. You decide what every event means, and you can choose to see the blessing in everything.

The second is you start to attract better circumstances. When you are putting out better energy, better is attracted to you, and you notice more of the magic all around you.

Know that you decide how you feel and commit to do that daily work on yourself, so you can start and live every day in a beautiful state.

thank you

Number Two— I have So Much to Be Thankful For

This is pretty easy for anyone to understand, happy people are happy because they are because they appreciate more than unhappy people. It has been said many times; you can be happy with little or miserable with much.

Knowing this, you understand the goal is never to accumulate wealth or material things; it is to get to the place where are you feel like you have everything.

Because that is all it is, a feeling. Feel blessed, and you’ll be blessed. Feel blessed, and you are blessed.

Number Three— Being Myself Attracts the Right People

One of the greatest tragedies of human beings is that the majority change who they are to fit into the world. They believe but it being like someone else, will make them fit in better with others, be liked by others. But the truth is, you’re never attracting the right people by being someone you are not.,

Be yourself, and the right people for you will show up. The right people will love the real you.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “to be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”

Have the courage to be you. Always.

Believe and know if you do so, the perfect people and circumstances will show up in your life!

believe in yourself

Number Four— I Am Capable of Anything

Successful people, know with absolute certainty anything they believe can be their reality. Imagine what you could create in your life with the belief I am capable of anything.

Well, you are, so believe it, know it and apply it to something you want. That dream you have. Plan for it. Work for it and get it!

That change you’ve been putting off: Believe you can do it and go for it!

Number Five— Kindness Always Wins

Some people believe kindness is a weakness. They believe kind people get walked over. They’ll point to an example from years ago, where they gave their heart and soul and that one person trampled all over it, so they adopt the belief that this is what happens every time they are kind.

If someone tripped you over once while you were walking you wouldn’t let that person stop you from walking, would you?

It’s not the walking that made you trip over it was the unkind person. In life, yes, some people will do you wrong, but that doesn’t mean you throw everyone into the same basket.

You are kind because that’s who you are not because you want something out of it, like a transaction.

Who do you think kind people are attracted to? Other kind people or those who refuse to be kind because they were hurt by someone else long ago?

Who do you think amazing people love to be around: those who are kind and genuine or those who are closed off?

Treat others how you want to be treated. Not because you want something from them, but because you know the world is a little better every time someone like you does good, no matter how small.

Number Six— Everything is a Blessing or a lesson

We’ve all been through hard times, every one of us. Some people who have been through minor hard times believe that their life is far less because of the event.

Are those that have been through hell, believe at some level, it was sent as either a lesson or a blessing.

Think of the survivors of diseases or abuse, they go through the worst kinds of pain, but because of the pain, the rise out of it with a new passion for life, they arise out of it with a sense of purpose wanting to help others who are going through the same pain.

You can learn from your past. You can use it. Believe it was sent to make you stronger, better, and more compassionate. Believe there was a reason for it.

Best-is-Yet-to-Come

Number Seven. My best Is Yet To Come

What would you attempt? What could you achieve if you knew your best is yet to come? Well, guess what.. your best is yet to come.

Your best is yet to come.

Look yourself in the mirror each morning and tell yourself, “my best is yet to come.” My best is yet to come, believe it. Live that belief.

Adopt these seven beliefs and see how your life transforms around you.

Summary
Anyone can achieve a reasonable life. And okay life, an okay job an okay relationship anyone can have this.

If you want a great life, you must commit to leading a great life, to doing things the majority do not want to do.

Commit to thinking like I’m a naughty not like the majority.

Wisdom To Help You Through

encouraging-quotes

It can be difficult when things are not going your way, but very often when you look back on difficult times you realise that it was through them times when you grew the most.

Looking back is the easy part, what makes someone wise is the ability to see the present through the eyes of experience.

Have a good day. Do not worry, everything works out in the end.

Inspiration of the Day

nike quote what i believe pinterest nike inspirational quotes

Even those closest to us that have our best interests at heart, still can hold us back. They can’t see how something could be possible. But it you can see it, then you can achieve it.

The only question is how badly do you want it.

Inspiration of the Day

Reflecting is always good, as you learn so many things. Things that you worried about that keep you up at night worked out ok in the end.

That 15 minute reading per day seemed so insignificant, but it turned out to be 15 books. Starting the evening class turned out to be the turning point in your career.

A year can completely change your life. Don’t worry, have faith, and follow your dreams.

7 Things You Should Give Up If You Want to Be Happy

Let’s face it; we all want to be happy. If you didn’t want to be happy you wouldn’t be reading this.

If you want to be happy you don’t need to add more things to your life — you need to give some up.

Here is a list of things that you need to give up to create more happiness in your life.

Give Up on Your Fears

We are born with only two innate fears: the fear of falling and the fear of loud sounds. All other fears we learn from our environment.

Some of us have a fear of snakes. Some of us have a fear of heights, others flying. We all have some kind of fear, but the fears that hold us back the most are the fears that stop is from doing what we want.

You want to change jobs, but fear of the uncertainty that brings keeps you where you are.

You want to attend the evening class, but the fear of what others will think stops you.

Unfortunately, fear and happiness can’t exist at the same time. So, fear becomes a problem.

The best way to give up your fears is to take small steps towards what you fear. If you fear to change jobs, it doesn’t stop you from doing out an up-to-date CV/Resume. It doesn’t stop you from looking for an available position or even applying. It doesn’t even stop you from attending the interview, as you can always decline if you get accepted.

Most people let fear stop them from even taking the first step, which could be as simple as making a phone call or sending an email.

When you take the first step to do the thing you fear you will start to believe that you can take the next step, and the next. Your faith grows, and you will be happier that you are moving towards the life you most desire.

Give Up on Your Negative Self-talk

I am my own worst critic. I have a constant conversation going on in my head telling me, “I will never be successful.” When I forget things, it tells me that, “I am such an idiot.”

Negative self-talk leads to poor self-confidence, low self-esteem, and a bad attitude.

Some of the most common forms of negative self-talk include:
Filtering — when you increase the negative and decrease the positive things in your life.
Personalising — when you blame yourself for things that go wrong.
Polarizing — when you only see things as black and white.
• Catastrophizing — when you expect the worst in every situation.

If you want to be happy, you need to get rid of your negative self-talk. Pay attention to your negative self-talk and when you hear it….Stop!

Change your thinking and turn your negative thought into a positive. Change, “I will never be successful” to “I will find a way to make this work.”
“I can’t” to “I will learn.”
“It’s impossible” to “I will give it a try.”

You can change the way you talk about yourself. It will not happen overnight, it will take time, but you can do it. Like scratching a DVD over and over, eventually, the negative thoughts will no longer play.

Learn to be kind, gentle, and encouraging to yourself. Start by not saying anything to yourself that you wouldn’t say to your best friend. Example, If a friend had a chance for a promotion you wouldn’t tell them not to apply because they’ll probably not get it.

Give Up on Your Past

“Just because someone screwed up your past, it doesn’t mean you should give them permission to screw up your future.” — Zig Ziglar

We all have a past. It can be filled with good experiences, or it can be filled with negative experiences. If you don’t want your future to look like your past, you have to let go of the baggage that is holding you back.

You have to let go of the people who have held you back, or hurt you. Forgive them, and move on. Once you do that, a huge weight will lift off your shoulders; you will immediately feel lighter.

You will finally be able to let yourself be happy.

I know how hard it can be to let go of the past. Your past shaped who you are today. But remember, the people that hurt you would like nothing better than to know that their actions are still affecting you.

Let them go; they are not worth wasting your time and energy on any more.

Decide either to let the baggage of your past weigh you down or to let it go, so that you can be happy now.

Don’t forget that life is a journey, and not a destination. So, don’t carry the baggage of your past with you. Lighten your load and be a happier traveller.

When you look back, you will be glad that you did.

Give Up on Living Other People’s Dreams

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born, and the day you find out why.” — Mark Twain

Too many people spend their lives living other people’s dreams. They are living the dreams of their parents, or the dreams of their friends, or the dreams of their social media following. Doing what others are doing.

They are so busy trying to live up to other people’s dreams, that they dismiss their dreams. Thinking they are insignificant.

If you don’t focus on your ambitions and dreams, then you will not be happy. You will never know what you want or need because you will be looking for direction from others.

You only have one life, and you must live it on your terms. Quit living other people’s dreams and find what makes you happy.

Give Up on Seeking the Approval of Others

We all want to be liked, but too many of us are living our lives based on the approval of others. We spend our lives trying to please others by living up to their expectations.

For most of my life I would try to impress others, but the older I got, the more I learnt. You will never please everyone, and even if you do it will not make you happy.

So, permit yourself to stop trying to please others. It doesn’t work.

Instead, focus on what makes you happy.

The second that you decide to be yourself, and to stop trying to please others, you will find that the right people will be drawn to you.

Give Up Comparing Yourself to Others

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” — Eleanor Roosevelt

There will always be someone smarter, better looking, and more successful than you. Always. You can never win.

So, quit comparing yourself to others. It will not make you happy. Instead, focus on your strengths, the things that make you a remarkable individual.

The day you stop comparing yourself to others is the day that you will become much happier.

Give Up Negative People

You cannot expect to live a positive life if you spend time with negative people. They are the people that complain all the time, and run others down.

Negative people will manipulate you to get what they want. And if they don’t get it, they will get angry or upset at you.

You know who they are. Why are you spending time with them? Why are you allowing them to steal your happiness?

If you spend your time with negative and unhappy people, you will become negative and unhappy. If you spend your time with positive and happy people, you have a higher probability of becoming positive and happy. It’s not hard, but we like to make it so.

Happy people know that who they surround themselves with can mean the difference between a happy life and a miserable one.

Stop wasting your time with negative and unhappy people. Get rid of them. It may be difficult in the beginning, but you will be happy that you did.

Conclusion

We all get what we tolerate. So, stop tolerating excuses within yourself, stop tolerating limiting beliefs, or fearful states.

Happiness is a choice.

You are in control of your happiness. Every day you get to choose to be happy or not.

Quit making excuses. Quit blaming others. Quit blaming your circumstances. It’s time to take responsibility for your happiness.

You all have gifts and abilities, its time to share them with the world to make it a better place for all.

Enjoy your week.

How To Conquer Your Fears And Reclaim Your True Power

Most people dont achieve there full potential because they are held back by fear. Fear will tell you that its to hard, its too far, and its too much work.

Most people when they face challenges in life turn the other way. They dont believe that they are capable so settle for second best.

Fear can stop us in so many ways. We don’t apply for the job, the course, or the promotion because we convince ourselves that we are not capable.

We dont travel to the destinations we desire. because someone told us that there dangerous, so miss out on seeing some of the most beautiful places on earth. If you walk down the wrong street in any part of the world its dangerous.

dark street gif.gif

Fear can even affect us in ways that can lead to physical and emotional problems. Most people can relate to the feeling you get when you are going for an interview. This is a mixture of feelings but the main one is fear, fear of the unknown.

Fear is an automatic response to anything that is new or anything we are unsure about. Im sure the first time you got into a car to drive you felt fearful but now you go from destination to destination without even thinking about it.

What happened? What changed?

Well, you faced your fear repeatedly but there was a more powerful force behind you. You seen all your friends driving and you had the faith that you could do the same. Faith is having the belief that something will happen before it has occured

faith

Sadly, however, a driving test is often the last time people challenge themselves. By the time most people are 18-21 they have started there life path and stay on that path to retirement.

Do they not want to challenge themselves anymore? Is that the reason most people dont do new things after there early 20s?

No. Its fear.

Fear will say, “what if you try this and it doesn’t work. What if people laugh at you. Who are you to succeed. Its probably better you just stay where you are. You might not be happy but at least your comfortable.” One year leads to five and five leads to 10, then all enthusiasm to change is gone.

I’m sure you’ve heard people say, “if only i was 10 years younger, the things i would do.” Truth is, they were 10 years younger and didn’t do anything then either.

We all have things that we want to do or achieve. We will never admit it but its fear that holds us back.

Fear put bluntly is the absence of God.

heart-scribble

We have the faith that our creator will beat our heart 115,000 times per day, but not that He will give us the perfect words to say in an interview. Or the confidence to apply for the course, or open and run a successful business.

Faith is like a muscle. its something that you must work on constantly to keep strong.

A marathon runner does not start training by running 26.2 miles, he or she starts with 2-3 miles and increases over a 16-20 week training program. Finishing at about 18-20 miles. They never run the full 26.2 miles in training, there faith in their ability takes them the extra 6-8 mile.

From today look at faith in this way. Your faith might be weak now but if you work on it week by week over the next 16-20 weeks. On week 21 nothing will stand in your way

No longer will you say no to opportunities. And when people ask you to do something that is beyond your reach you will have the faith in your abilities to run that extra 6-8 mile, so to speak.

To increase your faith involves reading spiritually books, praying and keeping your focus on God each day. Increasing your faith means conditioning your mind with positivity, avoiding negativity in all form. News, gossip and rumours.

Its human nature to be lazy and take the easy way, but the easy way rarely leads to a successful spiritual life.

In my new book enter the Kingdom of God I would like to share with you some practical ways that you can increase your faith, that if done daily for the next 16-20 weeks your faith will be strong, you will overcome your fears and you will feel the presence of God in your life.

Free ebook —You can transform your life — Learn the true power of prayer

When writing a book on prayer I wanted to address all people. Those that pray often and those that want to but don’t seem to have the time, due to work, social, or family commitments.

Prayer is an area that is very important to me, but there was a point in my life that I looked at it like a chore. Mainly because after a busy day the last thing that I wanted to do was pray.

I was worried, I doubted my abilities, and was stressed from the day.

gif businessAs I have become more mature my view on prayer has changed. Prayer has many different forms, all of which are powerful but we must never lose the sight of the fact that we are in constant communication with God.

Recently, I was talking to a young lady who was only out of University and was finding it hard to get work; she wanted to be a journalist, but when I told her about an opportunity that had just become available for a national newspaper, she replied, “I can’t-do that. That would be too much for me.”

As the conversation continued, I offered her another option for her to consider, to which she remarked, “That’s impossible. No journalist has taken that route.”

I started noticing a pattern throughout our conversation: Her perspectives about everything — her career and choices— were coming from scarcity. She felt her options were always limited and there would never be enough.

“So what do you want to do? What do you believe is possible?” I finally asked.

She had great difficulty responding. This young lady had been focusing so long on what she didn’t want; she wasn’t able to work out what she did want. Her faith in herself was faltering. And everything she was experiencing was taking her further off course.

If you let thoughts like, I cant, I will never, I’m not good enough float through your mind; these simple prayers can shape the rest of your life. You stop growing, you stop stretching and only go for what you think you are capable off.

This young lady had let these negative thoughts get a foothold, she started to believe that she wasn’t good enough. What was possible for her got smaller and smaller until the point her faith in her abilities almost vanished.

We all can relate to this girl in some way, we don’t go for the new job because we don’t feel good enough. We don’t do that night class because we think were to old and everyone will make fun of us, so we don’t fulfill our dreams because we settle for second best.

gif second place

Second best is not what we where sent here to achieve. God wants the best for us. We need to stop talking negative, we need to stop letting fear direct our lives, we need centre our mind on faith.

In my new book, You Can Transform Your Life, I will share my personal view of prayer to help you get the most out of your life, so that you can fulfill your dreams.

Warning: If you don’t use your God given talent, you could lose it forever.

Sometimes, I felt like I didn’t have what it takes, but here I am. I inspire and touch 1000s of peoples lives each month.

And you know what?

You are right here beside me. Supporting me, pushing me forward. So, I just want to thank you.

Thank you for reading my words, on my blog or Facebook page. Thank you for downloading my books, and thank you for leaving me the reviews that helped me get my message of faith out into the world.

thank you

Each of us is capable of so much, but we need to go after what we want. If I had of let the negative thoughts win, I would not be in the position I am today.

It reminds me of an ancient story about a master who got his three servants together and said, “I’ve got these talents.” (Now back in those days a talent was a measure of gold.)

So, he said to the three servants, “take these talents and see what you can do with them. I’m taking a journey, and I will be gone for a while. When I come back, we will go over the books and see how you did.”

The master said to the first, “here is five talents for you. Five. Heres two of them for you. Two. And here’s one for you. One. Take those talents. See what you can do with them. When I come back, we’ll get together and go over it all.”

The servants said, “okay.” The master set off.

006-parable-talents

When the master came back from his trip, he called for the three servants, and asked, “How did it go with those talents. Your five, what happened?”

That servant said, “Well, I took the five talents you gave me and put them to work. It was a little shaky at first, but things soon got rolling. I worked as hard as I could, and my talents grew to seven, eight, nine, ten. In the end, I double my talents from five to ten. The books will show.”

So the master said, “ Good job.”

Then the master turned to the second servant and said, “ I gave you two talents, what happened?”

That servant said, “about the same thing happened to me. I put the two talents to work. Working hard they grew to four talents. I doubled my talents from two to four. Books will show.”

And again the master said, “Well done.”

one talent

To the last servant, the master said, “ I gave you one talent. What happened?”

That servant said, “Well, I took that one talent you gave me, and I carefully wrapped it, and I dug a hole and buried it, camouflaging it.” I guess so no one would steal it.

He said, “fortunately, nobody got it. I knew you were going to be here today so I dug it up. Here it is, safely wrapped. I did not lose it while you were gone.”

According to the ancient story, the master said, “ take that talent away from him and give it to the man that has ten.”

Now, you might say, “Well, I don’t like that arrangement. The poor guys only got one talent. He’s got ten; it ought to be more even.”

The moral of the story is; what ever you don’t employ you forfeit.

Put another way, whatever you don’t use you lose. Lack of use causes loss.

useitorloseit

If you tie your arm to your body and leave it there long enough, you’ll never use it again. It’s over for the arm. The only way to keep the use of the arm is to keep using it.

When you give up due to lack of faith, fear, doubt, or worry. You lose automatically. If you don’t use the gifts and abilities God has graced you with, they will diminish.

Ambition unused decreases. Strong feelings unused diminish. Faith unused decreases. It will decrease, it’s a law.

Today, I want you to know that you too have been graced with many talents. If you choose to sit back and not use them, then you will live a very unrewarding and frustrating life.

Many people will say, but I don’t know what my talents are. Well, make it your mission to find out.

God given talents are things that you do naturally. Write, talk, paint, provide service, listen, motivate, and educate.

customer-service-smile

Often you have done them most of your life. They are never forced, they are straight in front of you, but you fail to see them. We take them for granted because we think they are irrelevant. Looking back over your life with purpose you can easily find them, and I welcome you today to do so.

Now, like a muscle that has not been used for a very long time, it will take rehabilitation until your natural talent flows as freely as it once did but it is worth the effort.

Show your gratitude to your heavenly Father today by using and increasing your talents.

Thanks for reading.

Power Of Words

YES I CAN

Words have a great impact on your world. They inform you, educate you and have the power to make you buy one product over the next.

What if you could harness this power.

I have already written a short book on the subject but would like to expand on the topic today as over the last week it has come to my attention that we all need a reminder from time to time.

I know a man that says, I always seem to miss the bus, or it is pulling away as I arrive. His daughter, on the other hand, says, I always seem to arrive just before the bus comes or when it is pulling into the station.

Each of them has made a separate law for themselves. One for success and one for failure.

This is a simple example that may lead to missing a plane from time to time, but often people through their words create many limiting laws for themselves, restricting what they can achieve in life.

I never remember.

I can’t learn anything new.

I don’t have the time to read.

I haven’t got enough education to do that.

If you say any of these things or anything similar you are not alone. It is estimated that by the time a child is 18 years old, it has been told that they can’t or don’t do that, 147000 times.

It is not surprising then as adults we take a negative view on life; avoiding trying anything new. The good news is you can change it all today by harnessing the power of your words.

When faced with a new task or challenge; turn I never, I can’t; I don’t, I haven’t, too – I always, I can, I will, I have.

im-possible

Do not be fooled my the simplicity of changing these words. Simple changes like this in your language can have a massive impact on your life and those around you.

Now changing language is only the first step, you must then put in the ground work of speaking these words of faith regularly; it will change your outlook, which in turn will change your life.

First Steps

This week, make a conscious effort to monitor whenever you say something negative about yourself or towards another; at the end of the week, you will have a list of the words or phrases that may be limiting your life or damaging your relationships.

The next step is to speak the opposite purposely. Example: I will never learn this, too, With practice, I will learn this

Many things we say have almost become a habit, they just roll off the tongue without thought. To break any habit at first may be hard but the fruits of your efforts will be very rewarding.

If you have the habit of saying, I haven’t got the time, make the time. As you would not miss a doctor’s appointment, set an appointment for yourself – to visit an old friend, to read a book or attend the gym.

James 3:2
If anyone can control his tongue, it proves that he has perfect control over himself in every other way.

Thanks for reading, enjoy your Sunday and week ahead.
